keybase.io is a service that lets you securely share data with another person. It allows you to encrypt and/or sign data then easily share it to the public or another keybase.io user.
It has a few huge differentiators however:
- Super easy to use. Don’t have to be a public key encryption expert to use
- Social network approach to establishing trust (aka I trust who you say you are). You can see my keybase profile here.
- Share data seamlessly with another keybase via your local filesystem by using the keybase filesystem
In addition to the keybase filesyste, there are CLI and web UI tools to encrypt/sign and share data.
