If you read my blog you already know I love NativeScript. A few weeks ago when I read that UpLabs was teaming up with NativeScript to run an app design and build challenge, I was pumped.
They had the option to go in blind and get paired up randomly with a designer, which I thought was a cool idea, so I went for it. I was paired up with Karo, a talented designer from Nigeria.
He used Figma to create the UX/UI – a tool that I’ve been wanting to try for quite some time.
Of course, I chose to use the Angular flavor of NativeScript to implement the app.
Check out the final product at our entry page – give us a thumbs up vote if you like it!
A direct link to the code in the NativeScript playground is here. It works best on desktop. Make sure to hit the preview button, download the NativeScript preview app, then scan the QR code.
Holler at me on Twitter @rynop if you have any questions – or better yet – if you’d like me to make an app for your company.
